  1. Favorite thing…hmmmm that can be a tough one…I love so many crochet items….I’m going with afghans. They take a crazy long time to make, but I adore them when they are finished πŸ™‚

    1. That’s okay. In my Dashboard, I can see you have an email that’s linked to your account. Would you still like to enter?

      1. Under “Comments” you can see under people’s usernames it lists their blog and email and IP address.

  2. happy blog anniversery ; )
I don’t crochet very well so I knit instead. my favorite thing to knit is mini toys in left over sock yarn.
one of these days I will practice and get better at the hook I tell myself. I can do the stitches but I am hopeless when it comes to reading the patterns

  3. My favorite craft is probably cross stitch, which was also my first craft. But like crochet, a lot of the patterns are just so dated. Congrats on your anniversary!

  4. What a beautiful giveaway! My favorite thing to craft would be any item I’m going to give as a special gift. That way I can pour my love as well as my creativity into it.

  5. My favourite things to crochet are first blankets I always have at least one on the go and then second anything baby, I love cute! πŸ™‚

  6. Hello! I love reading your blogs, always chatty and informative. My favourite thing to craft? Hmm, that’s difficult. I love knitting baby clothes, I have boxes of them. What a lovely prize you are donating. πŸ˜€

  7. I love working with cotton, be it knitting or crochet, but I’ve never worked with alpaca or silk, and would be thrilled to have the experience! Although I’ve been a knitter for most of my life, and I only taught myself to crochet about ten years ago, crochet has become my favourite of all my hobbies, and I am particularly enjoying combining it with jewellery making, or just using crochet itself to make jewellery.

I’m not really able to make larger items as I’m ill and disabled and don’t have much energy, so it’s just a little bit at a time, and slow going, but with working on such small items, it doesn’t really take me too long to finish…I think it is the designing that takes me longer, which I do on the days I’m not up to using hook or needles.

I have posted this giveaway to my facebook page.

  8. I shared on Facebook. The favorite thing I like to craft is my brain; it welcomes words, images, sounds, squirrels barking, wild parents invading, crows complaining. After that it’s writing words, but I long to knit; I have no time and once kept knitting 2 left sides to a button up sweater. Still the rhythm of knitting soothes me immensely; I haven’t given p.

  9. I love to make scarves for my daughter as she is always surprised by the softness & color and has fun looking unique when she goes around town/to work. Thanks for the chance to win yarn.

  11. I think I’m quite fickle, my favourite tends to be what I am hooking at that time. I’ve recently completed a ‘Japanese scarf’ with some beautiful Drops yarn – I loved it, with the leftover I made a scarf of tiny squares for a friend and can’t wait to give it to her at Christmas, and I STILL had leftovers and made some keychain charms for other people – they were really fin, if a little fiddly. My current WIP is a solid granny square blanket, I am loving the repetitive nature of this blanket, perfect to do while watching tv and chatting. I’m waiting for a yarn delivery (ooh new yarn) to start a baby blanket for a friend due in a few months.

  12. Did you have to ask me that question?!?!? I love to do different kinds of crafts – I crochet, knit, sew, and occasionally embroider or cross-stitch. My favorite is probably crocheting because it’s the easiest. One of my favorite things to make (knitted or crocheted) is a hat. Thanks for the giveaway!
